About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Memory Care Support Partner at Kentridge in Kent, Ohio. The position is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., working Monday in Week 1 and Thursday in Week 2, and pays $18.25–$27.25 per hour. The Memory Care Support Partner builds human connections with residents, learns about their interests and abilities, and collaborates on engagement plans. The role helps create a supportive resident experience by preparing spaces and rooms for activities, meals, and nighttime routines, and by partnering with residents in daily life. The position also involves documenting resident care and changes in condition and helping orient team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Possess computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connections with residents and demonstrate empathy during vulnerable moments.
Observe and learn residents’ interests, abilities, and individual characteristics.
Collaborate on appropriate resident engagement plans and implement strategies patiently.
Prepare resident spaces for daily activities, meals, events, and nighttime routines.
Partner with residents in daily life, from waking through bedtime.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist people after a fall.
