About The Position

The Memory Care Support Partner works at Hudson Grande in Hudson, Ohio, supporting residents in the memory care neighborhood. The role focuses on creating empathetic human connections, learning each resident’s interests and abilities, and collaborating on and implementing appropriate engagement strategies. The partner helps shape residents’ daily experiences by preparing spaces for meals, events, and routines, and supports residents throughout the day, from waking to bedtime. Responsibilities also include documenting resident care and changes in condition and assisting with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods. This is a full-time position scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The schedule alternates: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday in Week 1; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in Week 2. Pay is $18.25–$27.25 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Have computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connections with residents through empathy, particularly during vulnerable moments.
Observe and learn residents’ interests and abilities, and collaborate on and implement appropriate engagement plans and strategies.
Prepare resident and shared spaces for meals, events, and daily routines.
Partner with residents to support their daily lives from waking through bedtime.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist people after a fall.
