About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a part-time Memory Care Support Partner at Parkway in Blue Springs, Missouri. The role is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with a two-week rotation: Thursday in Week 1 and Monday in Week 2. Pay is $18.50–$28.25 per hour. The Memory Care Support Partner builds empathetic connections with residents, learns about their interests and abilities, and collaborates on engagement plans. The role helps create a supportive environment throughout residents’ daily routines, assists residents with daily living, documents care and changes in condition, and helps orient team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive and energetic attitude and a strong interest in working with residents.
Possess computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Build empathetic human connections with residents, especially during vulnerable moments.
Observe residents to learn their interests, abilities, and individual characteristics.
Collaborate on appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies patiently.
Prepare resident areas and shared spaces for daily activities and routines, including meals, events, and nighttime routines.
Partner with residents throughout daily life, from waking to bedtime.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist people after a fall.
