About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Memory Care Support Partner at Madison in Kansas City, Missouri. The role focuses on building empathetic connections with residents, learning about their interests and abilities, and supporting meaningful engagement. The Support Partner helps create a comfortable and successful daily experience by preparing resident and shared spaces for activities and routines, and partners with residents throughout their daily lives. The role also includes documenting resident care and changes in condition and assisting with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods. The listed pay range is $18.50–$28.25 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
Possess computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Have criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

Create empathetic human connections with residents, particularly during vulnerable moments.
Observe residents to learn their interests, abilities, and individual characteristics.
Collaborate on appropriate resident engagement plans and implement strategies patiently.
Prepare dining and activity spaces, resident rooms, and other environments to support residents’ daily experiences and routines.
Partner with residents in daily activities from waking through bedtime.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
