About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Care Partner at Kentridge in Kent, Ohio. The role focuses on creating human connections with residents, supporting an inclusive and positive community, and helping residents with activities of daily living. The position requires an empathetic, dependable, curious, and energetic approach to residents and coworkers. The schedule alternates weekly: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in Week 1; Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday in Week 2. Shifts run from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pay is $19 to $24.25 per hour. The role is based at 5241 Sunnybrook Road, Kent, OH 44240.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive and energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Have computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Pass criminal clearance.

Responsibilities

Create human connections with residents, including during vulnerable moments.
Contribute to a positive, inclusive environment and be dependable and present for residents, coworkers, and the community.
Remain engaged in personal development, growth, and training.
Proactively assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist people after a fall.
Print documents and enter information about residents using a computer.
