Care Partner 6pm-6am $19-24.25 (Full Time)
About The Position
The Care Partner provides empathetic, person-centered support to residents and helps create human connection during vulnerable moments. The role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Care Partners are expected to contribute to a positive, inclusive environment, be dependable and present with residents and coworkers, and engage in ongoing development, growth, and training. The position is full-time at Hudson Grande in Hudson, Ohio, with a 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. schedule. The schedule rotates: Week 1 is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; Week 2 is Monday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $19–$24.25 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude and enthusiasm for working with residents.
- Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and to assist persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
