About The Position

The Memory Care Support Partner creates meaningful human connections with residents and supports them through daily life in a memory care setting. The role involves learning residents’ interests and abilities, collaborating on engagement plans, and implementing those plans patiently. The Support Partner prepares resident and community spaces for daily activities and routines, partners with residents throughout the day, documents care and changes in condition, and helps orient team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

This is a full-time position at Boulevard St Charles in St. Charles, Missouri. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pay is $18–$24 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
• Possess computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
• Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
• Be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Create human connections with residents through empathy, especially during vulnerable moments.
• Observe and learn about residents’ interests and abilities.
• Collaborate on appropriate resident engagement plans and implement strategies patiently.
• Prepare dining, activity, and resident spaces to support residents’ daily experiences and routines.
• Partner with residents in daily activities from waking through bedtime.
• Document resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist with orienting team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
