Memory Care Support Partner 3pm-11pm $18-24 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is hiring a full-time Memory Care Support Partner at Boulevard St Charles in St Charles, Missouri. The role focuses on building empathetic connections with residents, learning about their interests and abilities, and helping create and carry out appropriate engagement plans. The Support Partner prepares resident spaces and shared areas for daily activities and routines, partners with residents throughout their day, documents care and changes in condition, and assists with orienting team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods. The scheduled shift is Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pay is $18–$24 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Have a positive and energetic attitude and a strong commitment to residents.
- Possess computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
- Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist people after a fall.
- Receive criminal clearance.
Responsibilities
- Create empathetic human connections with residents, including during vulnerable moments.
- Observe residents to learn about their interests, abilities, and individual identities.
- Collaborate on appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies patiently.
- Prepare dining rooms, event spaces, and residents’ rooms for daily activities and routines.
- Partner with residents to support all facets of daily life, from waking through bedtime.
- Document resident care and changes in condition.
- Assist with orienting team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
