Membership Sales Representative - Elite

National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB)•Clinton, OH
•Onsite

About The Position

NFIB is hiring an Elite Membership Sales Representative to grow membership by meeting face-to-face with independent small business owners in a local market. This is an outside sales role, with approximately 95% of time spent in the field rather than at a fixed office. The representative conducts in-person cold calls, delivers NFIB’s structured five-minute sales presentation, enrolls new members and processes payments, and explains NFIB’s advocacy for small businesses in Washington, D.C., state capitals, and the courts. The role is described as a hunter/closer position suited to a self-directed, mission-driven professional who is persistent, adaptable, comfortable with cold calling, and motivated by results. NFIB provides paid, performance-based training for up to 13 weeks, full benefits, mileage reimbursement, and uncapped straight-commission earning potential. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8–10 hours per day of full-time field effort.
