About The Position

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is a provider of fitness solutions that connect people on-site and online and build communities of health. The Membership Representative is a part-time position based in Burlington, Wisconsin. The role drives new membership sales and retention through customer service, relationship building, and process improvement. The representative serves as a key point of contact for the community and members at the client’s Health and Wellness Center, assisting with requests and providing information about membership accounts and services. The schedule is Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and every other Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additional income may be available by picking up shifts to cover staff. The compensation range is $15 to $17 per hour; the final offer depends on factors including location, qualifications, experience, and skills.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Obtain adult CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety & Health Institute within 45 days of hire.
1–2 years of previous sales experience.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated and able to communicate effectively.
Passion for helping others improve the quality of their lives.
Ability and willingness to listen to feedback and apply it.
Flu vaccination required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to prospective and existing members in person and through phone, text, and email.
Build lasting relationships with prospective and current members.
Meet sales goals and generate leads through prospecting, networking, and member referrals.
Promote and attend facility social events.
Represent the facility to local businesses, corporations, and community members.
Provide a leadership presence on the floor, help address issues, and provide coverage when the manager is unavailable.
Conduct facility tours and assist members with account changes and requests.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
