About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience through excellent customer service and facility cleanliness. The role is with an Excel Fitness Planet Fitness franchise and is scheduled for weekends from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Duties include checking members into the system, taking prospective members on tours, assisting with new account sign-ups, facilitating account updates, responding professionally and promptly to member questions and concerns, escalating issues to an Assistant Manager or Manager when needed, and thoroughly cleaning facility areas. Team members are required to wear masks while in the club, and members must follow applicable state and local mask mandates. The club uses touchless member check-in and promotes safe distancing. Compensation is $11.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers while exceeding member expectations.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to continually stand and walk during the shift.
• Ability to continually talk in person or on the phone during the shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• May occasionally encounter commercial cleaning products during the shift.

Responsibilities
