About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role includes front desk duties, membership support, answering questions and concerns, and helping maintain a neat and clean club. Candidates should expect to work five days per week, approximately 40 to 45 hours depending on hourly or salary status. The listed schedule is 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently and alone during shifts when business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Handle front desk activities, including answering phones and assisting callers with questions.
• Check members into the system.
• Sign up new members.
• Take prospective members on tours.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating matters to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
