Member Services Rep
About The Position
The Member Services Representative is a high-energy, positive team member who provides members with an exceptional experience and encourages them to achieve their fitness goals. The role helps create a clean, judgment-free environment where members feel welcome and supported. Representatives engage with members, encourage participation in fitness classes, introduce members to Black Card amenities, and support the club team at the welcome desk. They also assist with tours, member enrollment, and other club responsibilities. The schedule varies and may include any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a passion for helping others.
- Be dependable and punctual.
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds.
- Be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch.
- Physical demands may include communicating, standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and handling potentially hazardous chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, energetic service and encourage members in achieving their fitness goals.
- Engage and encourage members to support their fitness journeys and create a positive member experience.
- Keep the club clean.
- Find new and current members to join the fitness trainer in fitness classes.
- Introduce new and existing members to Black Card amenities.
- Check members in at the welcome desk and provide greetings and farewells.
- Assist with tours, member enrollment, and other club responsibilities.
- Promote a fun, supportive atmosphere and lead by example.
