About The Position
The Member Services Representative is a high-energy, positive team member who provides members with an outstanding experience and encourages them to achieve their fitness goals. The role helps create a clean, judgment-free environment where members feel welcome and supported. Representatives engage and encourage members, help connect them with fitness classes and Black Card amenities, and support the club’s front desk and enrollment activities. The schedule varies and may include any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Passion for helping others.
- Dependable and punctual.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including communicating, standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and handling potentially hazardous chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Engage and encourage members as they work toward their fitness goals, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Help keep the club clean and maintain its judgment-free environment.
- Find new and current members to join fitness classes with the fitness trainer.
- Introduce new and existing members to Black Card amenities.
- Check members in at the welcome desk and provide greetings and farewells.
- Assist with energetic, non-high-pressure tours and member enrollment.
- Support other club responsibilities and contribute positively to the team.
