Member Services Rep
About The Position
The Member Services Representative is a high-energy, positive team member who provides members with an excellent experience and encourages them to reach their fitness goals. The role helps create a clean, judgment-free environment where members feel welcome and supported. Representatives engage and encourage members, introduce them to Black Card amenities, and help connect new and current members with fitness classes. They also support the welcome desk, assist with club tours and enrollments, and handle other club responsibilities. The schedule varies and may include any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Passion for helping others.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including communicating, standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and handling potentially hazardous chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Provide positive, high-quality customer service and encourage members in achieving their fitness goals.
- Engage with members and help create a welcoming, judgment-free environment.
- Keep the club clean.
- Help connect new and current members with the fitness trainer and fitness classes.
- Introduce members to Black Card amenities.
- Check members in at the welcome desk and provide greetings and farewells.
- Assist with energetic, non-high-pressure tours and member enrollment.
- Support other club responsibilities.
