About The Position

The Member Services Representative is a high-energy, positive team member who provides members with an exceptional experience and encourages them to achieve their fitness goals. The role helps create a welcoming, clean, judgment-free environment where members feel like family and are supported throughout their fitness journey. The representative engages members, delivers attentive customer service, and helps maintain the club’s standards of cleanliness. The representative works at the welcome desk to check in members and provide greetings and farewells, conducts energetic, low-pressure tours, assists with member enrollment and other club responsibilities, and introduces members to Black Card amenities. The role also includes connecting current and prospective members with the fitness trainer’s classes. Schedules vary and may include any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a passion for helping others.
Be dependable and arrive on time.
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds.
Be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch.

Responsibilities

Provide members with a positive experience and encourage them to achieve their fitness goals.
Engage and encourage members throughout their fitness journey, delivering attentive customer service.
Help maintain a clean, judgment-free club environment.
Find new and current members to join fitness classes with the fitness trainer.
Introduce new and existing members to Black Card amenities.
Check members in at the welcome desk and greet them on arrival and departure.
Assist with energetic, non-high-pressure tours and member enrollment.
Assist with other club responsibilities.
