Member Services Rep
About The Position
The Member Services Representative is a high-energy, positive team member who provides an exceptional member experience and encourages members to achieve their fitness goals. The role helps create a clean, judgment-free environment where members feel welcome and supported. Representatives engage and encourage members, help connect them with fitness classes and introduce them to Black Card amenities. They also support the welcome desk, assist with tours and enrollment, and handle other club responsibilities. The schedule varies and may include any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a passion for helping others.
- Be dependable and punctual.
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Be able to perform the physical demands of the role, including occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling at least 50 pounds and standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, balancing, stooping, kneeling, twisting, or crouching.
- Be able to communicate and handle potentially hazardous chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver positive, high-quality customer service and encourage members on their fitness journeys.
- Maintain a clean, judgment-free club environment.
- Connect new and current members with the fitness trainer and fitness classes.
- Introduce members to Black Card amenities.
- Check members in at the welcome desk and provide greetings and farewells.
- Assist with energetic, non-high-pressure tours and member enrollment.
- Support other club responsibilities.
