Member Services Rep
About The Position
The Member Services Representative is a high-energy, positive team member who gives Planet Fitness members an exceptional experience and encourages them to achieve their fitness goals. The representative helps create a clean, judgment-free environment where members feel welcome and supported. Responsibilities include engaging with members, promoting fitness classes and Black Card amenities, and supporting front-desk and club operations. The role offers opportunities to grow leadership skills and develop within a growing company. The work schedule varies and may include any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Passion for helping others.
- Dependable and punctual.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Able to communicate, stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, reach, climb, balance, kneel, and handle potentially hazardous chemicals.
- Able to occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds and perform the listed physical activities.
Responsibilities
- Engage with and encourage members in their fitness journeys, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Keep the club clean and welcoming.
- Identify prospective and current members who may be interested in joining fitness classes.
- Introduce members to Black Card amenities.
- Check members in at the welcome desk and provide greetings and farewells.
- Assist with energetic, non-high-pressure tours and member enrollment.
- Support other club responsibilities and contribute positively to the team.
