About The Position
The Member Services Representative is a high-energy, positive team member who provides members with an exceptional experience and encourages them to achieve their fitness goals. The role helps create a clean, judgment-free environment where members feel welcome and supported. Representatives engage and encourage members, help maintain the club, promote fitness classes and Black Card amenities, and assist with front-desk and enrollment activities. Schedules vary and may include any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a passion for helping others.
- Be dependable and punctual.
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Be able to communicate, stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, reach, climb, balance, kneel, and handle potentially hazardous chemicals.
- Be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds and perform the listed physical activities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver welcoming, encouraging customer service and help members succeed on their fitness journey.
- Keep the club clean and maintain its judgment-free environment.
- Find new and current members to join fitness classes with the fitness trainer.
- Introduce new and existing members to Black Card amenities.
- Check members in at the welcome desk and provide greetings and farewells.
- Assist with energetic, non-high-pressure tours, member enrollment, and other club responsibilities.
