Member Services Rep
About The Position
The Member Services Representative is a high-energy, positive team member who provides members with an exceptional experience and encourages them to achieve their fitness goals. The role helps create a clean, judgment-free environment where members feel welcome and supported. Representatives engage members, deliver attentive customer service, and help introduce members to fitness classes and Black Card amenities. The position also supports the welcome desk, member check-in, club tours, enrollment, and other club responsibilities. Schedules vary and may include any hours of operation, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a passion for helping others.
- Be dependable and punctual.
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds.
- Be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch.
Responsibilities
- Engage and encourage members in their fitness journeys while delivering +1% customer service.
- Maintain a clean, judgment-free club environment.
- Find new and current members interested in joining fitness classes.
- Introduce members to Black Card amenities.
- Assist at the welcome desk by checking members in and providing greetings and farewells.
- Assist with energetic, non-high-pressure tours and member enrollment.
- Support other club responsibilities and contribute positively to the team.
