About The Position

The Member Services Representative is a high-energy, positive team member who creates an exceptional experience for Planet Fitness members and encourages them to achieve their fitness goals. The role helps members feel welcome in a clean, judgment-free environment and delivers attentive customer service to build member loyalty. Responsibilities include keeping the club clean, connecting members with fitness classes and Black Card amenities, welcoming and checking in members, giving tours, assisting with enrollment, and supporting other club operations. The schedule varies and may include any hours of operation, weekends, and holidays. The position offers a Planet Fitness Black Card membership and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a passion for helping others.
Be dependable and punctual.
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Be able to perform the physical demands of the job, including occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling at least 50 pounds; standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, balancing, stooping, kneeling, twisting, or crouching.
Be able to communicate, climb, reach, and handle potentially hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

Provide a welcoming, positive member experience and encourage members in pursuing their fitness goals.
Engage with members and deliver exceptional customer service to promote member loyalty.
Keep the club clean.
Connect new and current members with fitness classes and fitness trainers.
Introduce members to Black Card amenities.
Check members in at the welcome desk and provide greetings and farewells.
Give energetic, low-pressure club tours.
Assist with member enrollment and other club responsibilities.
