About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a high level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role handles front-desk activities, responds to member questions and concerns, facilitates account updates, and helps maintain the club’s cleanliness. The position is part-time and located at 1540 W 6th St, Corona, California.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for fitness and health.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers while exceeding member expectations.
• Strong listening skills, empathy, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Handle front-desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, giving tours to prospective members, and signing up new members while calculating rates and monthly payment amounts.
• Assist the Club Manager with counting the drawer as needed.
• Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner and escalate matters to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, including completing assigned tasks within the first hour of the shift, helping complete the daily priority cleaning list, conducting periodic walk-around and bathroom checks, and assisting with special cleaning projects.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.
