About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role handles front-desk activities, membership questions and account updates, and helps maintain the club’s cleanliness and welcoming environment. This is a part-time overnight position at the Northside location in Jacksonville, Florida.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Basic computer proficiency.
Punctuality and reliability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for fitness and health.
Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers and exceed member expectations.
Strong listening skills and ability to empathize and problem solve.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.

Customer service background preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
Answer phone calls in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Take prospective members on tours.
Sign up new members and calculate rates and monthly payment amounts.
Assist the Club Manager with counting the drawer as needed.
Facilitate updates to member accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
Help maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, including completing daily assignments within the first hour of the shift, helping with the priority cleaning list, conducting periodic walk-around and bathroom checks, and assisting with special cleaning projects.
Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.
