About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The position handles front-desk activities, member account updates, questions and concerns, and club cleanliness. This is a part-time overnight position at the Annaville club in Corpus Christi, Texas, paying $10.50–$10.75 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers.
• Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Handle front-desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, giving tours to prospective members, and signing up new members while calculating rates and monthly payment amounts.
• Assist the Club Manager with counting out the drawer as needed.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner and escalate them to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness by completing daily assignments within the first hour of the shift, contributing to the daily priority cleaning list, conducting periodic walk-arounds and bathroom checks, and assisting with special cleaning projects.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.
