About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. This evening and weekend role supports front-desk operations, member account needs, club cleanliness, and member inquiries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers while exceeding member expectations.
• Strong listening skills and ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Ability to demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.
• Availability Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 10 PM and open weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests while providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle front-desk activities, including answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with questions.
• Check members into the system.
• Sign up new members.
• Take prospective members on tours.
• Facilitate needed updates to member accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
