Member Services Representative Weekend
About The Position
Excel Fitness, a Planet Fitness franchise group, is hiring a Member Services Representative to help create a positive member experience through customer service and facility cleanliness. The role includes checking members into the system, giving prospective members tours, assisting with new account sign-ups, updating member accounts, responding to questions and concerns, and cleaning facility areas. The position requires standing, walking, and talking throughout the shift, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional exposure to commercial cleaning products. Team players must wear masks while in the club; members follow applicable state and local mask mandates. The facility uses touchless check-in and promotes safe distancing, and equipment and facilities are sanitized against COVID-19. Compensation is $11.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers while exceeding member expectations.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand and walk continually during the shift.
- Ability to talk continually in person or on the phone during the shift.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to occasionally encounter commercial cleaning products during the shift.
- Wear a mask at all times while in the club.

Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience.
- Check members into the system.
- Give prospective members tours and assist with the new account sign-up process.
- Facilitate updates to member accounts.
- Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to an Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
- Perform detailed cleaning in all areas of the facility.
