Member Services Representative Weekend 11am-9pm
About The Position
Excel Fitness is a Planet Fitness franchise group based in Austin, Texas, with more than 130 clubs and continued expansion. Member Services Representatives work at the front desk and help create a positive member experience through customer service and facility cleanliness. The posting identifies this opening as a weekend schedule from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The role includes checking members into the system, showing prospective members around the facility, assisting with new account sign-ups, updating member accounts, addressing questions and concerns, and cleaning facility areas. Representatives should provide professional, positive service and refer issues to an Assistant Manager or Manager when needed.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers while exceeding member expectations.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Demonstrate diplomacy in interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Continual standing and walking during the shift.
- Continual talking in person or on the phone during the shift.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- May occasionally encounter commercial cleaning products during the shift.

Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience.
- Check members into the system.
- Give prospective members facility tours and assist with the new account sign-up process.
- Facilitate updates to member accounts.
- Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner, escalating to an Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
- Perform detailed cleaning in all areas of the facility.
