About The Position

The Member Services Representative works at the front desk and helps create a positive member experience through excellent customer service and facility cleanliness. The role includes checking members into the system, showing prospective members around the club, assisting with new account sign-ups, updating member accounts, and responding to member questions and concerns. The representative also performs detailed cleaning, closes the shift, and prepares a bank deposit for the next day. This position requires overnight third-shift availability, with the listed schedule of 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers while exceeding member expectations.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work third shift (overnights).
• Continual standing and walking during the shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during the shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience.
• Check members into the system.
• Give prospective members tours and assist with the new account sign-up process.
• Facilitate needed updates to member accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to an Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Perform detailed cleaning in all areas of the facility.
• Close the shift for the business day.
• Create a bank deposit for the next day.
