Member Services Representative - Full Time Morning 6am-2pm
About The Position
Excel Fitness, a Planet Fitness franchise group, is hiring a full-time Member Services Representative for a morning shift from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The role is based at the front desk and focuses on creating a positive member experience through customer service and facility cleanliness. Team members may have opportunities to grow into management roles as the company expands. The representative checks members into the system, gives tours to prospective members, helps with new account sign-ups, updates member accounts, and responds professionally to questions and concerns. The position also includes detailed cleaning throughout the facility. Team members must follow the company’s stated in-club mask and cleaning protocols.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers while exceeding member expectations.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to stand and walk continually during the shift.
- Ability to talk continually in person or on the phone during the shift.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- May occasionally encounter commercial cleaning products during the shift.

Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience.
- Check members into the system.
- Take prospective members on tours and assist with new account sign-ups.
- Facilitate needed updates to member accounts.
- Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner, escalating to an Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
- Perform detailed cleaning in all areas of the facility.
- Follow in-club mask and cleaning protocols.
