About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role handles front-desk activities, responds to member needs, and helps maintain the club.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Basic computer proficiency.
A passion for fitness and health.
Upbeat and positive attitude.
Punctuality and reliability.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers while exceeding member expectations.
Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

Customer service background preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Sign up new members.
Take prospective members on tours.
Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
