About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role handles front desk activities, supports membership sign-ups and account updates, responds to questions and concerns, and helps maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness. This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and applicants must be at least 18 years old. Customer service experience is preferred. The role involves continual standing, walking, and talking during shifts; occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds; and occasional exposure to toxic chemicals. Compensation is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
Handle front desk activities, including answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Sign up new members.
Take prospective members on tours.
Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
