About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role handles front desk activities, supports member account needs, and helps maintain a neat and clean club. This is a part-time position in Clearwater, offering $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Customer service background preferred.
Basic computer proficiency.
A passion for fitness and health.

Punctuality and reliability.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers while exceeding member expectations.
Strong listening skills and the ability to empathize and problem solve.
Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Able to stand and walk continually during the shift and talk continually in person or on the phone during the shift.
Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
May occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during the shift.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
Handle front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, signing up new members, and taking prospective members on tours.
Facilitate updates to member accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
