About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role includes welcoming visitors, handling front desk activities, assisting with membership sign-ups and account updates, answering questions, and helping maintain the club’s cleanliness.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Basic computer proficiency.
Punctuality and reliability.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers.
Strong listening skills, empathy, and problem-solving ability.
Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Sign up new members.
Give tours to prospective members.
Facilitate updates to member accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating them to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
