About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role includes front desk activities, member account support, tours for prospective members, and helping maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness.

Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers while exceeding member expectations.
Strong listening skills, empathy, and problem-solving ability.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

Customer service background preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
Handle front desk activities, including answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Sign up new members.
Take prospective members on tours.
Facilitate needed updates to members’ accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
