About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role includes front desk duties, membership support, and helping maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness.

Requirements

Basic computer proficiency.

Punctuality and reliability.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers while exceeding member expectations.
Strong listening skills and the ability to empathize and problem-solve.
Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions and use appropriate behavior and language.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

Customer service background preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
Handle front desk activities, including answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Sign up new members.
Take prospective members on tours.
Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
