About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role includes front desk activities, membership support, responding to questions and concerns, and helping maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Basic computer proficiency.
Upbeat and positive attitude.
Punctuality and reliability.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers.
Strong listening skills and the ability to empathize and problem solve.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.

Nice To Haves

Customer service background preferred.
Passion for fitness and health.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
Check members into the system.
Sign up new members.
Take prospective members on tours.
Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to an Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
