About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role includes front desk operations, responding to member needs, and helping maintain the club’s cleanliness and appearance.

Punctuality and reliability.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers while exceeding member expectations.
Strong listening skills and the ability to empathize and problem solve.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

Customer service background preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
Handle front desk activities, including answering phones and assisting callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Sign up new members.
Take prospective members on tours.
Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
