About The Position

The Member Services Representative is a high-energy, positive team member who creates an exceptional experience for Planet Fitness members and encourages them to achieve their fitness goals. The role helps members feel welcome and supported in a clean, judgment-free environment, engaging with them and encouraging progress on their fitness journeys. The representative helps maintain a clean club, introduces members to Black Card amenities, supports fitness-class participation, and assists with check-ins at the welcome desk. The position also involves greeting and farewelling members, giving energetic, low-pressure tours, assisting with enrollment, and supporting other club responsibilities. The schedule varies and may include any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a passion for helping others.
Be dependable and punctual.
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds.
Be able to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch.
Be able to communicate, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, climb, balance, kneel, and handle potentially hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

Provide members with a positive, welcoming experience and encourage them in achieving their fitness goals.
Engage and encourage members to succeed on their fitness journeys.
Maintain a clean club environment.
Connect new and current members with the fitness trainer for fitness classes.
Introduce members to Black Card amenities.
Check members in at the welcome desk and provide greetings and farewells.
Assist with energetic, non-high-pressure tours and member enrollment.
Assist with other club responsibilities.
