About The Position

The Member Services Representative provides a welcoming, energetic experience for Planet Fitness members and encourages them to achieve their fitness goals in a clean, judgment-free environment. The role engages and encourages members, delivers outstanding customer service, and helps create a sense of community at the club. The representative helps members at the welcome desk, including checking them in and offering greetings and farewells. Responsibilities also include introducing new and current members to fitness trainers and classes and explaining Black Card amenities, conducting friendly, non-high-pressure tours, assisting with member enrollment, and supporting other club responsibilities. The schedule varies and may include any hours of operation, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Passion for helping others.
Dependable and on time.
Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including communicating, standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, twisting, crouching, and handling potentially hazardous chemicals.
Must be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds.

Keep the club clean.
Connect new and current members with the fitness trainer and fitness classes.

Assist with friendly, non-high-pressure tours and member enrollment.
Support other club responsibilities.
