About The Position

Planet Fitness is hiring a part-time Overnight Member Services Representative in Elk Grove, California. The position creates a positive member experience by providing superior customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. Duties include front-desk service, membership and account support, responding to questions and concerns, and helping maintain club cleanliness. The role requires standing and walking throughout the shift, frequent in-person and telephone communication, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Handle front-desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, giving tours to prospective members, and signing up new members while calculating rates and monthly payment amounts.
• Assist the Club Manager with counting the drawer as needed.
• Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, including completing assigned tasks within the first hour of the shift, helping with the daily priority cleaning list, performing periodic walk-around and bathroom checks, and assisting with special cleaning projects.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.
