About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role handles front-desk activities, supports membership account updates, addresses member questions and concerns, and helps maintain the club’s cleanliness. This is a part-time overnight position at the Airport Commons location in Palm Coast, Florida, paying $15.00–$15.50.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Basic computer proficiency.
Punctuality and reliability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for fitness and health.
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers while exceeding member expectations.
Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.
Ability to stand and walk continually during the shift.
Ability to talk continually in person or on the phone during the shift.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
May occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during the shift.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests while providing exceptional customer service.
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Take prospective members on tours.
Sign up new members and calculate rates and monthly payment amounts.
Assist the Club Manager with counting out the drawer as needed.
Facilitate updates to member accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager when needed.
Help maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness, including completing daily assigned tasks within the first hour of the shift, the daily priority cleaning list, periodic walk-around and bathroom checks, and special cleaning projects as needed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.
