About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role handles front-desk activities, member account updates, and assigned club cleaning duties, while responding to questions and concerns professionally. The position is part-time and overnight at the Airport Commons club in Palm Coast, Florida.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Basic computer proficiency.
Punctuality and reliability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers.
Strong listening skills and the ability to empathize and problem solve.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language.

Nice To Haves

Customer service background preferred.
Positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Take prospective members on tours.
Sign up new members and calculate rates and monthly payment amounts.
Assist the Club Manager with counting out the drawer as needed.
Facilitate updates to member accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner, escalating them to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, including completing assigned tasks within the first hour of the shift, helping complete the daily priority cleaning list, conducting periodic walk-around and bathroom checks, and assisting with special cleaning projects as needed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.
