About The Position

The Member Services Representative creates a positive member experience by providing a high level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role handles front-desk activities, supports membership account updates and member inquiries, and helps maintain the club’s cleanliness. This is a part-time position in St. Augustine, Florida, with a stated pay range of $15.00–$15.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health.
• Exceptional customer service and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers while exceeding member expectations.
• Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Handle front-desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, giving tours to prospective members, and signing up new members while calculating rates and monthly payments.
• Assist the Club Manager with counting the drawer as needed.
• Facilitate updates to members’ accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating them to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the club’s neatness and cleanliness by completing assigned tasks within the first hour of the shift, working on the daily priority cleaning list, performing periodic walk-around and bathroom checks, and assisting with special cleaning projects.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.
