Member Service Teller
About The Position
Summit Credit Union is hiring a people-first Member Service Teller at its Old Sauk branch. The teller serves as a friendly, welcoming presence and supports a positive member experience by handling financial transactions accurately, identifying member needs, connecting members with appropriate teammates, and educating them about products and services. The role also helps keep branch operations running smoothly through careful, timely work. The position involves active engagement with members in a dynamic branch environment and requires Saturday hours. The stated physical demands include continuously standing, walking, sitting, and using hands and fingers; occasional reaching above or below shoulder level; and lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 40 pounds. The work environment is a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting.
Requirements
- At least one year of customer service or sales experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office.
- Basic math skills.
- Attention to accuracy and a commitment to excellence.
