About The Position

The Part-Time Member Service Representative (Teller) supports credit union members with financial transactions, including cash handling and negotiable instruments. The role delivers quality service, builds professional relationships, provides account information and account or loan maintenance, and resolves or refers issues as needed. Attendance is an essential function of the position. Part-time employees are scheduled for 21–29 hours per week. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. A completed application is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Sell money orders and VISA gift cards to members and transfer amounts from member accounts as directed.
• Balance the cash drawer and daily transactions.
• Identify members’ needs and promote and cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Welcome members, provide routine information about services, and direct members to the appropriate department for specific information and service.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks, including typing, filing, responding to emails, and answering the telephone.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
