Member Experience Associate
About The Position
The Member Experience Associate delivers outstanding service and value to AAA Members through personal, attentive service across multiple branch locations. The role combines Member services and product sales, with individual accountability for achieving sales targets. Associates rotate among branches based on business needs and must adapt quickly to different teams, Member bases, products, services, and systems. This is an onsite position at a branch in Eureka, California. The posted rate is $23 per hour plus commission; starting rates vary by region from $23.00 to $26.95 per hour. The position includes rotating Saturday availability and regular travel between locations. The role may cover a range of service and sales functions depending on branch needs, including Member Experience, Member Services, Concierge, DMV/MVD, Auto Travel, Unlicensed Insurance Services, and Smart Home Security.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2–4 years of work experience, including at least 1 year in a sales role; sales experience is required.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to adapt, travel between locations, and flexibly cover shifts at multiple branches.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, communication, active listening, and sales skills.
- Ability to learn and use multiple computer systems and applications.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.
- Availability to work rotating Saturdays.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in insurance, retail, hospitality, service industries, or call centers.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding defined sales standards and goals.
- Customer service experience.
- Bonding/fingerprinting and P&C licensing may be required depending on branch needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide Member services and sell AAA products while following branch procedures and compliance requirements.
- Meet individual sales goals by using consultative sales techniques to uncover needs, present solutions, and close sales.
- Promote AAA products and services and reinforce the value of Membership across branch locations.
- Anticipate Member needs, recommend relevant solutions, and adapt service to each branch environment.
- Build product knowledge and cross-functional skills to flex between service and sales responsibilities as branch needs require.
- Apply standard operating procedures and support efficient end-to-end branch processes.
- Travel between branch locations and cover shifts as needed, including rotating Saturdays.
