About The Position

The Medication Technician in Assisted Living at Heritage Greens is responsible for delivering quality care by encouraging residents’ independence and supporting their physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being. This is a full-time, third-shift role from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., including every other weekend. Compensation is $18.50 or more per hour, depending on experience. Requirements

Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) or PCA and a MedTech certificate are required.
Completion of a nursing assistant course.
Must meet state training requirements and/or certifications.
First Aid certification and CPR, if required.
High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
Bring a positive attitude to work and be a strong team player.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with simple requests as needed.
Supervise or assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation, and other activities.
Provide companionship and develop strong relationships with residents.
Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures.
Document care provided to residents consistently.
Provide input to help keep individual resident service plans current.
Regularly review the 24-hour report and care checklists.
