About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Medication Technician for The Blake at Carnes Crossroads. The company provides resort-style senior living and emphasizes wellness, security, longevity, family, joy, self-worth, and team-member growth. The Medication Technician supports residents by managing and distributing prescribed medications, documenting resident progress, reporting health changes, and assisting with dining and activities as needed. The role is overnight, from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., and pays $17.50–$18.50.

Requirements

Have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Current Medication Technician license issued by the state.
Be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

Report changes in residents’ health and status.
Complete daily data sheets to record resident progress.
Provide medication management accurately and professionally, in accordance with The Blake standards and state regulations.
Explain medication dosage and pharmacology when needed.
Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
Assist with dining as needed or as directed by the leadership team.
Assist with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
