About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Carnes Crossroads. The role supports assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening, assistance with activities of daily living, and help with programs and activities. The position also includes reporting changes in residents’ health and status, completing daily data sheets, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining assistance as needed or directed by the leadership team.

Requirements

• A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Flexibility and readiness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred, but not required unless required by state law.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Experience working with older adults is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supportive listening to assisted living and memory care residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Report changes in residents’ health and status.
• Complete daily data sheets to record resident progress.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with dining as needed or directed by the leadership team.
• Assist with activities that keep residents engaged and happy.
