About The Position

The Medication Partner works at Rock Creek in Ankeny, Iowa, helping residents through empathetic, dependable, and engaged care. The role is responsible for proper medication administration, maintaining medication carts and accurate records, and proactively assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The listed schedule is Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and the position is part-time.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Hold an active certification in good standing that meets state guidelines.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
Have mature interpersonal skills and work effectively with coworkers.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Have a positive, energetic attitude and enjoy working with residents.
Have computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information.
Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist people after a fall.
Pass criminal clearance.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks; complete a physician health screening within the stated timeframe and test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at screening and annually thereafter.
